Top scoring 2011 students from each university were invited to the Final Challenge events, which begin the evening of November 3rd and will conclude the afternoon of November 4th with the announcement of the Top 3 Finalists, with prizes awarded.
- Final Challenge: All finalists will report for an 8:30am start to take the Final Challenge on Friday, November 4th. In keeping with the 2010 Challenge, all questions on the Final Challenge are submitted by top sponsoring companies, reflecting real-world issues and opportunities addressed by these companies. The students are given 2 hours to complete the Final Challenge.
- Interviews: Top sponsoring companies have the opportunity to interview as many of the Final Challenge participants as they wish from 10:30am to 2:30pm.
- Tour of local tech companies: Finalists have the opportunity to take a tour of some of the top sponsoring companies offices, including GrubHub and Groupon, between breaks in the interviewing schedule.
- ITA Talent Leadership Board Meeting: The ITA has created an Advisory Board consisting of top business, education, civic, and government leaders who will address the ongoing technology talent gap. The Board will meet at TechNexus offices from 1:00pm to 2:30pm.
- Announcement of 2011 ITA Fall Challenge Winners: The top 3 students will be named, and prizes awarded, at a 3:00pm ceremony.
