Roundtables are peer-to-peer events allowing executives with similar functional areas an opportunity to share ideas, best practices and fellowship. Roundtables are formed by ITA members. Participating individuals gain direct access to practical, technical and business-related information in specific subject areas through regular meetings. Roundtables are open to all individuals from ITA member companies. Non-members are welcome and encouraged to participate at ITA Roundtables for up to 3 roundtables per individual to obtain a feel for the association and its activities. Intelligence Roundtable
(Meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 8:00
a.m.)
The
world is becoming increasingly competitive. It’s no longer a luxury to
leverage corporate data as a strategic asset if every-thinning margins and
competitive advantages are to be maintained and improved. Businesses are
increasingly investing in business intelligence and enterprise data warehousing
(BI/EDW) as the infrastructure which allows them to leverage corporate
information to make better strategic and operational decisions. The BI
Roundtable is a monthly forum designed to bring business and IT leaders
together to discuss issues, collaborate on strategy and solutions, and work
together toward a common goal: better use of data and information technology to
drive business performance.

Chief Executive Officer Roundtables
The CEO Roundtables offer ITA industry member CEOs an
executive-only forum to share their experiences with other chief executive
officers of member technology companies. The Roundtable provides an opportunity
to foster business development, share experiences and expertise, and develop
mutually beneficial relationships. Roundtables give CEOs unique access to the
information they need to grow their companies as well as foster their own
professional development.

Financial Officer Roundtable
(Meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 8:00 a.m.)
The CFO Roundtable brings together chief financial officers to discuss timely
issues that are important to them. The Roundtable addresses investor relations,
current tax and accounting issues, ratios, real estate and legal issues. Meets
on the third Tuesday of every month at 8:00 a.m. and will not meet in
July or August.

Cleantech IT Roundtable
(Meets quarterly the second Thursday of the month at 11:30 am)
The
Cleantech IT roundtable will focus on the role and impact of technology on the
cleantech sector and the opportunities for technology companies. For
every clean technology—smart grid, biofuels, wind, solar, storage, energy
efficiency and conservation—technology has a role to play. Examples
include data aggregation and mining, predictive algorithms and optimization,
sensors and measurement, and systems integration.
This roundtable welcomes both cleantech
and technology companies. For cleantech companies, the roundtable
will provide deeper insight into the role of technology in enhancing the
value of green business models. For technology companies, the roundtable
will identify opportunities to apply technology to the cleantech sector.

Cloud Computing Roundtable

Cloud computing offers great efficiency, cost savings, automation
and scalability opportunities for businesses. At the same time, many challenges
confront the technologists who design, implement and manage platforms and
applications across the cloud. Addressing both the challenges and opportunities
of this quickly evolving field, the Cloud Computing Roundtable is a forum where
technology executives come together to explore their concerns, challenges and
experiences. The group meets bi-monthly in downtown Chicago on the third
Thursday of the month at 9:00 a.m. We welcome business and IT professionals who
are responsible for shaping the future of the cloud within their organization.

Advisory Roundtable

The Legal Advisory Roundtable
is a forum for ITA members and other business principals and professionals to
discuss with experienced counsel the effects and intricacies of corporate
transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, angel, venture capital and
private equity financings, and software licensing transactions. The Roundtable
provides an opportunity to discuss with senior partners of the law firm of
Connelly Roberts & McGivney LLC, who specialize in such corporate
transactions, various aspects and terms of those types of transactions,
including understanding, analyzing and negotiating letters of intent in merger
and acquisitions transactions, term sheets involving equity financings,
structuring those transactions and software license agreements. The
Roundtable brings together sophisticated corporate attorneys with ITA members
and other business principals and professionals to assist the participants in
better understanding these types of major transactions and the affect on their
businesses.
