ITA Survey: We Need Your Opinions About Health Insurance for ITA Members - This Survey is Open to All Respondents
July, 6 2009 / Submitted by ITA
Here's an exciting opportunity to share your opinion about future Illinois Technology Association (ITA) affinity programs intended to alleviate administrative time and costs for member companies.
The ITA Affinity Programs Committee is diligently working to sign up a series of affinity partners that would provide increased value to ITA members. Right now their primary focus is group health insurance and they are embarking on a new initiative to offer health insurance as a co-operative across all ITA members. The idea is not new - as matter of fact, both parties in Congress announced recently that they are headed towards a compromise bill that creates cooperatives for healthcare.
The following quote from an article gives more insight on the compromise bill - "a possible compromise emerged in the Senate to one of the most vexing obstacles in the health care reform debate. Sen. Kent Conrad, D-N.D., offered a plan to create health care cooperatives owned by groups of residents and small businesses."
The ITA goal is to leverage the size of our membership to potentially decrease the cost of health care coverage for all participants.
In order to gauge interest in a group health plan and other related programs, please visit www.illinoistechsurvey.com and complete our BRIEF survey (expected to take no more than 10 minutes to complete).
We hope you'll take the time to complete this survey in the interest of more useful and relevant program development in the future.
