Federal Funding Alert: Opportunities for the week of August 31, 2010
August, 31 2010 / Submitted by John Doe
Federal funding is a potentially valuable source of funds for start-ups. In addition to providing the needed capital for research and development projects, diversified revenue streams are helpful in the overall fundraising strategy for companies who may be looking for Angel or Venture Capital Investment. Investors often feel that companies with non-dilutive sources of funding are attractive investments. The investor's dollar is worth more since the company has the potential to grow more with the use of Federal funds.
The ITA FundingAlert is a listing of funding opportunities offered by federal government foundations and other agencies derived from various sources, including the State Science & Technology Institutes (SSTI). The opportunities listed in each week's issue provide application information, eligibility criteria and submission deadlines and collectively offer a glance at what is available.
