Mike Barrett, CEO, Unosquare (Moderator)
Mike is the co-founder and CEO of Unosquare, a Portland, Oregon based software engineering firm that provides IT consulting and builds web and mobile applications for BFSI, Healthcare, and Software customers. Unosquare has been one of the 100 fastest growing private businesses in Oregon four years in a row and was most recently named on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies in the USA for 2015, 2016 and 2017. Mike most enjoys traveling with his family, golf, and surfing in Mexico and Nicaragua.
Asif Ahmed, VP Product Management, Aginity, Inc.
Asif Ahmed is responsible for driving the product strategy, development and product marketing for Aginity’s innovative Analytics Management Platform. The company’s flagship analytics solution, AMP, is in use by some of the largest and most analytically driven Fortune 500 companies to reduce the cost of building and governing enterprise analytics by as much as 90%. Asif has deep expertise in bringing enterprise software solutions to market in multiple domains including E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Data Warehousing, Big Data and Analytics, and holds a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Randal Cox, Chief Scientist, Rippleshot
Randal is an informatics scientist first and foremost, whether that is in genetic sequencing of financial models predicting fraud. He finds nothing more fun than a really large data set just waiting to be plundered for hidden gems. Randal has a decade of experience in the credit card industry, modeling credit card and ATM fraud, ultimately culminating in the co-founding of Rippleshot, a company that produces a very early warning system for credit card data breaches like the ones recently at Sony, Schnuck's, Heartland, and Target.
Joe DeCosmo, Chief Analytics Officer, Enova
As CAO of Enova, Joe leads a multi-disciplinary analytics team that provides end-to-end data and analytic services including data warehousing, business intelligence, business analytics, fraud, credit risk and marketing. His team supports the global online financial services offered by Enova International and delivers on-demand decision-making technology and real-time predictive analytics services to clients through the Enova Decisions brand. Joe received a B.A. in economics from Lewis University and an M.A. in economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Joe lives in the Chicago area with his wife and daughters.
Pooja Parthasarathy, Product Manager, Narrative Science
Pooja is a product manager at Narrative Science where she drives product strategy and development for their new enterprise product. Prior to joining Narrative Science, Pooja was at Neuberger Berman, where she led quantitative research on multi-asset class institutional portfolios. She began her career building algorithmic trading strategies at TradeLink. Pooja has a BS in Mathematics from Stella Maris College, an MA in Economics from North Carolina State University, and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She also serves on the board of Live It To Learn It, a Chicago based non-profit working to provide greater financial access to underserved teens.
