We are delighted to present a computer vision workshop by Intel® aimed at engineers, researchers, and software developers who develop computer vision and machine learning applications and want to benefit from transparent hardware acceleration. Join us for a one-day, hands-on workshop where Intel® will take you through a computer vision workflow using the latest Intel® technologies and comprehensive toolkits including support for deep learning algorithms that help accelerate smart video applications. You will learn how to optimize and improve performance with and without external accelerators and utilize tools to help you identify the best hardware configuration for your needs. This workshop will also outline the various frameworks and topologies supported by Intel® accelerator tools in addition to a brief discussion on how to implement custom layers.

By attending this workshop you will learn:

  • To accelerate computer vision applications
  • Performance optimization techniques with hardware acceleration

Meet the speaker: 

 

Priyanka Bagade, Internet of Things (IoT) Developer Evangelist

Priyanka Bagade is an Internet of Things (IoT) developer evangelist at Intel. In her role as evangelist, she provides thought leadership and technical expertise in the area of integrating Intel commercial IoT platform with cloud partner products and services. She is skilled in developing product prototypes and demonstrations using Intel IoT technology and publishing editorial insights on Industrial IoT solutions. In 2016, she led the support for nine GE Predix & Intel Developer Program activities with GE including Predix Transform Hackathon, Intel Developer Forum and multiple Predix Machine Shops. She has obtained her Ph. D. in Computer Science from Arizona State University in 2015. Her research was mainly focused on enforcing safety, security and sustainability requirements in healthcare applications and wearable systems.
