During this program, made up of short, interactive conversations, you’ll walk away with a sense of what’s most pressing, gain new connections, and takeaways that you can adapt and implement immediately.

Meet the Speakers:

Alex Castrounis, Founder and Author

Alex Castrounis is the founder of InnoArchiTech, InnoArchiTech Institute, and Analytics4Champions, as well as the author of AI for People and Business published by O’Reilly Media. He has been engaged to speak to business leaders from organizations such as Apple, Google, Microsoft, Lenovo, State Farm, Bosch, and Accenture. He has also taught about the benefits of data, analytics, and AI to thousands of people.


Mark Chapman, Senior Solutions Architect, Talend 

Mark is Senior Solutions Architect for Talend in the USA providing deep technical product knowledge and industry experience to solve the challenges faced by Talend’s clients as they strive to become data driven enterprises with the adoption of Big & Traditional Data management and Data Governance technologies. Mark has over 25 years’ experience with data management software vendors specializing in fuzzy matching, data quality and master data management.


Crystal Harris, Senior Manager, DevOps Transformation Coach, CapTech

Crystal is a Software Developer, Coach, SAFe Agilist and Leader with a passion for driving higher customer satisfaction and greater business agility through Agile transformation and DevOps practices. She is also an engaging and dynamic instructor with experience teaching SAFe courses in DevOps, Agile Software Development, Agile Architecture and Product Ownership. Crystal has a strong technology background as an Application Manager and Developer with over 15 years of experience in software development and 10 years of experience leading and coaching agile transformations. She believes every developer has the power to change the world with technology and agile is a means to unlock that potential.


John Kampas, Founder & CEO, EMPIST

John Kampas is the Founder & CEO of EMPIST, a Chicago-based full service technology company. He started EMPIST nearly 20 years ago and has since transformed it into one of the fastest-growing IT companies in the world. John firmly believes that surrounding yourself with good people and having a desire to learn are the core components to achieving great things.


Duane Lyons, Practice Leader, Wavicle Data Solutions

Duane is a Practice Leader at Wavicle Data Solutions and leads the National Restaurant Practice as well as leading the Wavicle partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Previously, he was President and founder of Dinelytics and was focused on sales and delivery of analytic solutions for organizations within the food value chain. Prior to founding Dinelytics, Duane was a Managing Partner at Clarity Insights, the largest US-based consultancy 100% focused on data & analytics.

Vinnie Schoenfelder, CTO, CapTech

Vinnie Schoenfelder serves as CapTech's Chief Technology Officer. In this externally-facing role, Vinnie helps the organization define services, forge partnerships, and design solutions for clients.

As a thought leader, Vinnie meets with current and prospective clients, vendors, and industry analysts to discuss current business challenges, as well as approaches to solving these challenges. He also participates on key engagements either as an engagement director or solutions architect.

Vinnie has been a frequent speaker at Fortune 500 companies and technology conferences across North America. He has also worked with clients in more than a dozen industry verticals across North America, Europe, and Canada.

Vinnie is passionate about exposing all students to STEM based classes and careers. He serves as president of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Computer Science Industrial Advisory Board (CS IAB), serves as a board member for the University of Virginia’s CS IAB, and is a board member for CodeVA.
