In 25 words or less, what is Satori all about?
Our mission is simple: To work with clients to solve their business problems and realize opportunities for growth. We work and live in the same communities of our clients which fosters long-term, value-driven relationships.
What problem do you solve and how do you address it better than the competition?
We deploy small teams of experienced consultants who work collaboratively with our clients and are motivated by a shared sense of purpose. Our consultants typically have 5-10+ years prior consulting experience, are outcome focused and value the intimacy/flexibility that Satori brings in support of clients.
How did you get started?
Founded in 2002 by experienced career management consultants with complementary backgrounds and consulting skills who wanted to deliver high value to clients while limiting the overhead.
How has your company culture evolved as Satori has grown?
Satori is a firm with a roll-up-the-sleeves attitude, and we relish the opportunity to spend time with engaging and intelligent teammates. Our growing firm creates opportunities for everyone to shape the future of our work and our approach.
What are your primary goals for Satori Consulting?
We strive to scale our services while continuing to support clients as they transform their business to meet the new demands of today - and tomorrow. We are investing in the development of leading practices through association with industry organizations.
Where do you see Satori Consulting in two years? Five? Ten?
We will continue to grow our presence while developing critical insights in key areas - business transformation, compliance, risk management, cloud enablement, cybersecurity and strategic implementation. As a firm, we will continue to determine where best to leverage our experience/expertise and invest in providing innovative client insights.
What's the No. 1 thing on your to-do list?
As we grow to continue to maintain our culture of "can do" professionals that feel empowered to chart new paths.
In your opinion, what are some of the pros and cons of being an Illinois business?
As it is February, I would not list the weather as a pro… Seriously, the businesses in Illinois are committed to the community, and we look forward to being part of that continued investment in local development.
What are the most significant challenges you face as you scale your business?
As many organizations are transforming their businesses, our challenge is getting early insight into our clients' strategic priorities to help optimize our mutual opportunity to realize value together.
This one is all you. Anything else you want to tell us?
Our approach over more than 15 years has proven to provide smooth sailing to clients as they respond to increased competitive, economic and regulatory pressures.
