Lindsey is responsible for the overall operations of the association. With a passion for technology and a strong background leading customer success and services teams for tech companies, she is focused on ensuring our people, processes, and systems are maximizing value for our members and partners. Lindsey enjoys crossword puzzles and anything that makes her laugh. Originally from sunny Florida, she has long called Chicago home and is proud to be raising her two children and cat as Bears fans with her awesome husband in Logan Square.
A Chicago native and Harry Potter enthusiast, Jessica engages and empowers the ITA member base as the most forward-facing representative of ITA. With a double-major in sociology and psychology and a background in social work, Jessica brings her care, compassion and understanding of the human condition to her endeavors. Her strong communication skills propel ITA's engagement efforts and collaborations across the tech community. Day in and day out she is consistently meeting with members and attending events demonstrating her support and exceeding the needs of the ITA network. A wino at heart, she is often found socializing with friends at eateries and her humble abode with a glass of wine in tow. She dreams of owning a dog, eating mozzarella sticks and spending the weekends at her family's lake house.
As the Senior Manager of Membership, Derrick focuses on engaging with prospective members of ITA and presenting the various ways the association benefits its member base. His passion for learning about new companies and connecting with every corner of the Chicago Tech ecosystem shines through in his excitement during these engagements. You can attend nearly any Tech focused event in the Chicagoland area and he’s usually a stones throw away. Born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan with 4 siblings, Derrick has always enjoyed being of service to others. When he's not hard at work, you can find him exploring the hot new restaurants in Chicago or (sacrilegiously) cheering on his favorite basketball team, the LA Lakers.
As part of the Programs and Events team, Kaylin spends most of her time plotting and planning different events for ITA members and members of the tech community, including educational programs, workshops and leadership dinners. Harnessing her background in marketing and degree in English, she has a tremendous passion for organization and event planning. Her devotion ensures every aspect of an event is planned for and perfect. Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Kaylin enjoys discovering new dessert recipes, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Jessica spends most of her day managing programs and events for our members and the greater tech community. In addition to planning signature ITA events, she channels her passion by focusing on ITA’s Student Membership Programs and Women Influence Chicago initiatives. She has a degree in Business Management and Administration with concentrations in Organizational Leadership and Human Resources. Jessica considers herself a foodie and is a “lives to eat versus eats to live” type of person. Growing up, Cher from Clueless was her role model, so it’s no surprise that she strives always to be the “hostess with the mostest.” In her spare time, you can find her getting lost in a good book or planning her next travel destination.
As the Marketing Specialist at ITA, Abbey lives and breathes all things marketing. She spends most of her days creating website content and email campaigns, along with handling ITA’s social media accounts and crafting marketing collateral. With her background in marketing and degree in public relations and advertising, Abbey has an immense passion for creativity. Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, she is no stranger to city living. Abbey enjoys everything the city has to offer from speakeasy bars to craft shows and dreams of living in the Big Apple one day.
